A Specialist Nurse at Sherwood Forest Hospitals who has worked in research for 18 years. A member of the Clinical Ethics Committee, currently sitting on the Research Governance Committee. Deborah is a Consent Trainer for the Trust.

My role is to co-ordinate and manage the research team within Rheumatology , I am the Principle investigator on studies and coordinator/ specialist research nurse on others We have studies ongoing within our team for patients with Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, inflammatory arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, ankylosing spondylitis, pain and back pain. My role is to coordinate the tissue repository at SFH, this is an ongoing study, rolling protocol, collecting joint tissues, serum and matched clinical data from surgical patients and post mortem cases.
