Abstract
Environmental sustainability in dermatological surgery is a topic that has gained attention in recent years. Dermatological surgery involves the use of various materials and devices that may have an impact on the environment, such as disposable instruments, sutures, dressings, and waste. The aim of this paper is to review the current literature on the environmental aspects of dermatological surgery and to provide some practical suggestions for reducing the environmental footprint of this specialty.
