Abstract
Patients diagnosed with acute coronary syndromes (ACS) are required to follow national Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) guidelines to ensure safety and legal compliance. Doctors play a pivotal role in providing the appropriate advice to patients. This two-cycle quality improvement project has demonstrated that targeted educational interventions can effectively improve the dissemination and documentation of this advice. This project represents an achievable quality improvement initiative that can be easily implemented in other departments with similar challenges.
