Abstract
In this chapter we are not advocating a rebellion or revolution against accepted methods of evaluation. Instead we will attempt to tease out the complexities in evaluating evidence for group therapy against the backdrop of the need for research in the current climate. We will explore the challenges for inpatient group therapists to be able to talk about research and evidence-based practice, and the need for them to read, learn and contribute to the research literature. However, let's start from clinical experience. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)(chapter)
