Abstract
Aim: To remove the stand alone databases relating to referrals into the services and triaging, which contain patient information and activity within the Paediatric Physiotherapy Department, by 100% within six months.
Due to a number of manual processes required to collate data from a number of different spreadsheets, there was a huge risk to patient care as there was risk of information in spreadsheets disappearing. By moving away from standalone spreadsheets and onto the clinical system the data is now open and transparent and, should there be any safeguarding concerns, all information relating to that child can be seen by Children’s Physiotherapy.

Project Impact: Complete and up to date child record on Carenotes. Released admin and clinical time. Improved data collection. Standardised process across Children’s AHP services. Removed the risk of loss of patients’ records.
