Supporting Evidence Synthesis and Facilitating Research into Practice at a Large Teaching Hospital in the UK

Lagojda, Lukasz
Abstract
Evidence-based information underpins clinical practice in every way. While we are all too familiar with the devastating impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare delivery, we haven't really thought of how this event affected the use of evidence by clinicians. By learning how healthcare staff see their information-seeking behaviours and barriers to information, information professionals can begin to develop new strategies to support evidence-based practice and decision-making at the bedside and in the boardroom.
