Space, the final frontier: Outdoor access for people living with dementia

Abstract
An editorial is presented on promotion of the human rights and social inclusion of people with dementia. Topics discussed include existence of the social exclusion and isolation for older people, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities which aimed to enable persons with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in all aspects of life, and considering a person's rights and wishes regarding access to the outdoors.
