Observations from a combined adult ASD/ADHD clinic

Abstract
Objectives: Review of the outcomes of ASD/ADHD clinics for adults without ID. Methods: Naturalistic observations by two consultants specialising in ADHD and the other in ASD as to the proportion of the both diagnoses in the presentation and reviewing simple treatment outcome using CGI (n=26+). Results: The more ASD was present at the time of ADHD presentation the less response to stimulants. Conclusions: In presence of both conditions, the severity and presentation of both can vary; and the results not as clearcut as those seen in other settings with single diagnosis of ADHD.
