Determining risk of dementia: a look at Chin and beyond
Abstract
Key points: Dementia is a major public health challenge particularly for low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). If we are to mitigate the impact of dementia, we need to determine the key risks and protective factors linked to dementia. Few studies have characterised dementia risk in LMICs, and research into prevention is virtually non-existent in these settings.
